New Mexico continues to have among
the highest national rates of substance abuse
and overdose death,
with almost half of those in Bernalillo County.
This summit will update progress of the
Bernalillo County Opioid Abuse Accountability Initiative
since the first summit in September 2013,
identifying successes and unrealized opportunities,
as well as barriers that have impeded progress.
Leaders and stakeholders from the initiative and the community will present ideas and insights while
interacting with audience members to develop solutions
and action plans for moving forward.
